No it's not on a crowded ocean beach...... it's on Beach Drive, at CLAYTOR LAKE,
America's Best Kept Secret!     Shhhhh.....don't tell!

Beach Bungalow is a cozy little waterfront home on the lake where you can fish, swim and boat right off the front yard!   You'll enjoy grilling and eating out on the deck within a few yards of the water.  You can launch your boat at the public park (DeHaven Park) just around the corner, and then park the boat at the dock right in front of the house. 
You can fish and swim off the dock here at the house, or walk over to the park to use the large fishing pier and roped off swimming area. 

If you've ever dreamed of having a bon-fire by the water... this is your chance!!
You're welcome to burn some of our driftwood, or bring a bundle of campfire wood with you.    

  The kitchen is new and has everything you will need to feel right at home.  Just bring groceries!

  Bedrooms 1 & 2 each have a full-size bed.  No need to bring any linens for bed or bath.

  Bedroom #3 has a twin size bed, with an extra mattress for the floor if you need it.   
The bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

  The living room has a great view of the lake, with brand new sliding doors leading to the deck.  
A TV with DVD player is available so you may want to bring some movies! 

  The loft area of the living room makes a great getaway or sleeping area for kids old enough to climb up!  Ok, so there are a few steps here afterall... but only to the loft!

   Summer rates from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend are $800 per week plus 10% tax and $50 cleaning fee.  Other days during May and September we rent for a 2-night minimum at $125 per night.  October through April we will rent for a 2-night minimum, $100 per night.  Always add 10% transient tax and $50 cleaning fee.  For more information please email zakurtz@roanoke.edu or call 540-953-2045   Thanks!
